Jessica is passionate about what she does – “I love massage and body work, and endeavour to provide my clients with the best treatments available providing maximum benefits. I want my clients to respond to the treatments and get better!”

Jessica has built up an extensive client base at Hemel Massage including sports men, woman, and children, people recovering from injuries or operations, ski instructors, manual workers, drivers and people that have back, neck and shoulder issues from too much computer work. Everyone at Hemel Massage is pleased to have built up the clinic and now have many referrals from local GPs in the area. We pride ourselves on treating anybody who would like to benefit from professional, expert, therapeutic massage treatments.

Jessica has been practising general massage since 2007 where she qualified from MSCM at Mount Vernon Hospital. Since then she has added lots of other courses and experience to her portfolio, such as facial massage, Indian head massage and maternity massage; but her true passion lies in therapeutic massage and increasing the general feeling of wellbeing.

A mother of 3 sporty boys may have had something to do with her love of physio and sports injury.

Sophie Rolph of the Hemel Massage team

SOPHIE ROLPH

Sophie Graduated in 2017 from the University of Bedfordshire with a BSC Hons Sports Therapy. She has worked along side other therapists at Rugby Clubs both pitch side and in the treatment room. She is ready to trade the muddy pitches for the warmth and comfort of the Hemel Massage treatment room!

As an avid sportswoman herself, she believes that regular massage reduces stress and increases relaxation, but is key in injury prevention and recovery.

Sophie’s aim is to keep you in the sports that you love and to get you back to your best by treating and preventing injury / re-injury as quickly and safely as possible.

Sophie cannot wait to be using her massage skills within the Hemel Massage Team.

Silvia Eccel of the Hemel Massage team

Silvia has travelled extensively, is currently training as a yoga teacher, and has a passion for wellbeing.

She says “I love being a massage therapist as I am able to help my client relax and unwind from their daily life, and I am able to relieve them from aches and pains they might be suffering from. It is a rewarding job if you can make people feel better.”

Joanne Mullins of the Hemel Massage team

JOANNE MULLINS

Joanne Mullins is a Level 5 Sports Massage therapist who has previously worked as a therapist in large blue-chip companies in London.

Having previously worked as an IT professional, she knows from personal experience how easy it is to slump at your desk, or improvise where you work from e.g. your sofa, kitchen table etc, all the toll that takes on your back, neck and shoulders. This has been all too common during lockdown.

Issues with poor posture herself triggered her training as a massage therapist. Joanne customises each treatment to the client’s needs and has extensive experience with clients who want their “knots” released and wanting to relax at the same time.

On the sports side, she has loads of experience treating people who work all day and then rush to fit in a run or a gym session at lunchtime or before work and pick up niggles or simply have “heavy tired legs” after a long run at the weekend.

Joanne also specialises in reflexology, pregnancy massage, and will be able to sort out all your aches, pains and niggles.

Hannah Richardson of the Hemel Massage team

HANNAH RICHARDSON

Hannah’s goal is to support and empower you to get back to doing the things you enjoy. Graduating from Coventry University in 2013 with a BSc (hons) Sports Therapy, Hannah has been treating injuries and providing massage for a number of Sports Teams and within Injury Clinics in the UK and in Australia.

After travelling around Asia and becoming engulfed in holistic practises, Hannah gained her ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology in 2018 and has since added specialisms in Fertility treatments for natural and assisted conception, and in Women’s Health supporting Menstrual Conditions and Menopause.

Hannah has a passion for seeing her clients flourish, she offers therapeutic massage, sports massage, deep-tissue massage, pregnancy massage and reflexology, tailoring treatments specific to your requirements and goals.

Hayley of the Hemel Massage team

HAYLEY BROWN

Hayley trained at Champneys and has worked in the beauty industry for over 15 years. She specialises in deep tissue and swedish massage, adapting her treatments to her clients needs, whether that be sore achey muscles or just pure R&R after a stressful week.

Hayley has worked in many top spas, gyms and salons across the UK and also in Australia. She also manages her own business in Hertfordshire where she has both a mobile and home salon.
Hayley has had the luxury of receiving massages around the world whilst travelling and has acquired lots of wonderful massage techniques and practices along the way, which she loves to bring to her own treatments. No massage from Hayley is ever the same and she draws on her wealth of experience, every time.

If you would love an Indian head massage that will leave you floating, or a deep tissue massage that really works into your knots and pains, Hayley is looking forward to helping you.
